Terms & Conditions
To avoid any disappointment please speak to our team to ensure you book your preferred appointment time as we book out fast. To book an appointment you may contact us via our social media platforms, email or our contact number. When making a booking in order for us to hold and secure your appointment time, we require a $100 redeemable payment.
If you are using a credit or gift voucher towards a treatment, please ensure you notify a staff member to ensure we have this on your file.
At Melbourne Skin Boutique, we ask that you please arrive 5 minutes prior to your appointment to ensure all appointments run on time. If it is your first time with us, please allow this extra time to fill out our consent form.
If you are more than 15 minutes late to your appointment, your appointment will be cancelled, resulting in a full loss of deposit.
Cancellations & No Shows
Please take care when booking appointments. Careless cancellations, last minute cancellations and No Show’s will result in a full loss of deposit.
We understand unexpected and unplanned things come up, therefore we request a minimum of 48 hours notice in advance of your appointment time to cancel and/or re-schedule. If 48 hours notice is not provided, your $100 deposit will be forfeited.
This also applies for No Show’s and clients who are using a gift voucher.
Refunds & Exchanges
All payments are STRICTLY non-refundable. If you have made full payment for a service and change your mind, we have a 6-month holding period. Your payment may be transferred to another service if the deposit made was for a service. All retail purchases may be transferred to another retail product.
All products are non-refundable however are exchangeable (not including the price paid for postage), if original packaging hasn’t been tampered with. If you decide to exchange a product, the product must be brought to the boutique or posted back to us (at your own expense) at the address found on our Contact Page within 7 days; sealed and in all original packaging. Product exchanges are not exchangeable for services.
We are unable to transfer prepaid packages or credits to another client.
Packages & Credits
All pre paid packages and credits are strictly non-refundable or exchangeable. Packages and credits on your file have a 6 month validity. If your package has expired we are unable to extend the expiry date.
If you have been advised by your medical practitioner that you need to put a temporary hold on your services, we require a signed letter from your doctor to put a hold on the account before your package or credit expires.
Our team at Melbourne Skin Boutique is fully vaccinated.
We respectfully ask that if you are booking an in-salon treatment to only book if you are double vaccinated.
Upon arrival, you will be asked to check-in using our QR Code and display your vaccination certificate.
If you are feeling unwell, we respectfully ask that you contact our team to reschedule your appointment.
Please notify a staff member before making any bookings if you are on any medications, are pregnant, a cancer patient or are undergoing ongoing medical treatment. A letter from your Doctor will be required to declare it is safe to undergo treatments.
Consent is required for Children and Teenagers under 18 years of age from a parent or guardian.
We ask that you please remember to arrive fresh for your appointment. It is important to arrive clean shaved before all laser hair removal treatments. Hygiene towels, razors and wet-wipes will be available to use before laser treatments. Make up remover is also available for use prior to facial treatments.
